STYCO Electronics Warranty Policy

 

Warranty Scope and terms

-This warranty shall only for products purchased from Styco electronics, and warrants that each Product will be free from defects in material and workmanship. Styco electronics warrants products against defects in material and workmanship for 18 months calculated from ex-factory date.The 18 months warranty applies to this product unless otherwise specified on the original sales receipt at the time of purchase.

-Styco electronics warranty is valid only to the original purchaser and can not transferable, and it is only applicable to Styco electronics products purchased from authorized resellers or retailers. Within the specified warranty period, Styco electronics will repair or replace spare parts (excluding batteries or cable ...) that are damaged under normal use without additional charge caused burn. The defective product or defective spare part must be presented together with dealer’s invoice when the defective product or defective spare part is returned for repair. Otherwise, Styco electronics reserves the right of not providing free warranty during the warranty period.

 

Not Cover Under Warranty

-This warranty does not apply to damage or failure to perform arising as a result of any Acts of God or from any abuse, misuse, abnormal use or use in violation of any applicable standard, code or instructions for use, including without limitation, those contained in the latest safety, industry and/or electrical standards for the relevant region(s).

-Warranty does not apply when the product has been incorrectly or improperly used, been subject to external influences such as power surges, acts of God such as flood or hurricane that damage the item(s), or opening or tempering of the product housing by persons other than authorized Styco electronics personnel. Repairing of the unit must be done by qualified Styco electronics personnel, the warranty expires immediately if the unit has been opened by non-Styco repairman.

 

Shipments

-It is the customer’s responsibility to count and inspect all packages carefully before signing the delivery receipt. If a shortage is suspected, contact Styco Electronics immediately.

-In the event that Styco Electronics is instructed to drop ship to your customer, it is the receiver’s responsibility for immediate examination of the contents for damage or loss. No claims will be allowed after 5 working days from the receipt of the shipment. Needed inspections by the carrier for loss or damage is to be reported by the customer.
